That really isn’t too long for the US. It depends on the severity of the injuries sustained and that is why we triage people.

The Hospital I work at pushes for more. We aren’t as busy as Mercy, 4 blocks away, though. Our new ER isn’t open yet either so we’ll see what happens next month.

Hell last time the wife and I had to go to the er cause she had an irregular heartbeat it took an hour and 15 to see a doctor and this is a community hospital. Not even a trauma center. My mom was in the er in joliet last weekend and it took 45 minutes before the doc showed up. It’s crazy
